Adapter BNC female - SMA male
BNC socket to SMA plug.
Ideal for connecting our antennas to hand-held radios with an SMA female antenna connector, eg Yaesu and Icom
Simple but effective!
Two versions available
SMA with hex nut connector
SMA solid knurled connector
SMA with hex nut connector
Weight 6.4 grams
Length 24mm, 0.952 inches
A little bit lighter for extra portability, and has a smaller diameter than the other type. The smaller diameter may be useful if the SMA connector on your radio is slightly recessed, or has obstacles (buttons or knobs) near it.
SMA with solid connector
Weight 10.2 grams
Length 18.65mm, 0.734 inches
One solid piece of metal, giving a more secure mechanical connection. The wider diameter and the knurled surface for better grip mean that the SMA end of the adapter should be easier to attach to SMA sockets than with the hex nut type.

A robust BNC - SMA adapter
The connector works very well. The only problem is to stop it rotate when connecting the BNC cable. I glued a little "ear" on the side, between the BNC and SMA connectors. So now it works perfectly!

Forget all the others
Thsi is the best SMA-BNC that I could find to use with the KX-3 transverter. All the problems that I had with others (tighten the hex nut, fragile, etc) were gone.
