BNC Female - UHF Male (PL259)
We also sell a variety of RG174 patch leads, including a BNC Female to UHF Male (PL259) lead - the same connectors as this adapter, but in the form of a coaxial cable.

Make It Standard Equipment
When purchasing SOTABEAMS antennas with BNC ends, it wise to grab one of these adapters as well. Always keep it in the bag (stuff it down inside the "peg pocket." This is true even if you do not own a rig with a SO-239 connection. While rare, I've run in to situations where another ham wanted to "plug-in" to my BNC terminated coax to try out an antenna setup. Someone may supply a backup radio without a BNC connector. This adapter enables maximum flexibility in those moments. Keeping it in the bag ensures it is always available when needed. It is a good quality adapter.

BNC-PL259 adapter
This is a solid product that works well. I used two of these, together with the preterminated coax, when using a home made portable vertical 6 m dipole (with SOTApole support.).
