    Yellow Antenna Wire

    Posted by Ian on 3rd Jan 2016

    Thanks Richard for the wire it arrived in VK in good time for me to knock up a new link dipole for the 2016 SOTA season. Its a great product and I have had no trouble using your antennas made from this wire . It was my own impatience and haste that broke the last antenna when it caught in the rocks on a summit. All was not lost the 20m section of the first dipole is now cut down from the break to make a 15m dipole. I recommend this wire for light weight antennas for sure.

    Good Value

    Bought for a stealth antenna. Seems ok but not sure how robust it would be with the winds we have experienced lately. Definitely worth a go though.

    Just the job for use up the centre of the SOTA 10M fibreglass pole that is mounted on wall brackets. Wire lightweight and easy to work with.

    Portable antenna

    Posted by Andy on 19th Jun 2015

    Well the first 9m is working well. No reason to suspect that the remaining 91m will be any worse! Some form of wire winder would help avoid kinks - that's my next job.

    Not copper wire but..

    Posted by Steve Milner on 10th Jan 2015

    Nevertheless seems to work perfectly well to construct a 3 band fan dipole in the attic, tuned to 10, 15 and 20 metres. {Admin - this product is tinned copper wire}

    Good value

    I used this wire for a stealth linked dipole. Have to look closely to make sure that the wind hasn't removed it. Perfect for inconspicuous antennas and very lightweight for an apartment dweller with little to fix wires to.
