I used this wire for a stealth linked dipole. Have to look closely to make sure that the wind hasn't removed it. Perfect for inconspicuous antennas and very lightweight for an apartment dweller with little to fix wires to.

I got this wire to replace the wire on my old 5 band link dipole that I made some 5yrs ago cut the wire to the same lengths as the old ones did not have to trim it at all and the antenna is as good as new, it is lightweight and flexible to use.

I chose the brown wire to ensure my back garden antenna experiments are as stealthy as possible. The small diameter of the wire and the colour does ensure that the wire blends into its surroundings quite well. The yellow is a better colour for portable use so as to make the wire as visible as possible. The wire is lightweight and easy to handle, especially when using SOTAbeams wire winders. I am very pleased with this purchase.

best bit about this wire is its weight. for those doing sota or portable work where weight is important. I used the hi-vis version to make a linked dipole ( kit supplied here)along with the wire winders(also supplied here), was getting the same sort of rst as using my g5rv, on 40m. Being light i add it to the top of my 6m prowhip ant (other similar antennas also available), rather than taking a heavier mast. this also means i can work ground wave as well as sky wave, if the band conditions change.
