How accurate is the RBN

The Reverse Beacon Network is often used to compare antenna by radio amateurs. How accurate is this method? I investigate.
Holiday closure: we are currently closed for holidays, and will re-open 2nd Jan. However, orders can still be placed through our website, and a member of staff will be in the office to pack some orders on 30th Dec. Any items that we do not manage to dispatch on 30th Dec will be dispatched in the first few days of January.
