These seem to fit the BNC connector better! A PL-259 they will slide out of. A SO-239 it fits decently tight! I would recommend this to help you keep the dirt out of your BNC connector on your linked dipole.

I have used these to insulate the cables on various sota antenna's that terminate at a bnc. My thought is that it will be dust free also no water able to get in while I endeavour to get to a decent vantage spot/ altitude. Great..... Roll on summer 73 to all
