Ribbed Insulators

These heavy-duty insulators are light, strong and weather-resistant. They are a real alternative to the old ceramic types but using modern materials! They are suitable for permanent or temporary installations. These are great as dipole centers or doublet centers.

They can be used as end-insulators or centre insulators. Two hanging eyes allow the insulator to be easily suspended. Used as a centre insulator for a doublet, they match the length of our long open wire spacers.

Their ribbed design ensures a high breakdown voltage - even when wet! Superior to the old-style egg insulators or dog-bone insulators.

They are made from a specially selected mix  of ABS and PC to give great strength coupled with good UV resistance and a wide temperature range (-50C to +90C).

Light-weight at just 14g (0.5 oz.), you won't get saggy antennas like the old heavy ceramic insulation cause.

Insulator length 119mm (4.7 inches). Strain rating 100kg (220lbs) long axis, 45kg (99lbs) support loops.
