Rotating Guying Ring
Designed for use with lightweight telescopic masts this guying ring provides a low-friction way of guying a pole that will allow easy rotation of the mast for use with directional antennas. The rotating guying ring consists of a multi-layer ring containing a captive slip-plate.
Two slip-plates are provided to allow use of different pole types. One slip-plate has a 25mm inner diameter while the other has a 22mm inner diameter. Four 4mm diameter holes are provided for attaching guys.

A novel product
For many years I struggled with twisting guy lines while rotating a directional antenna on account of having a fixed guying ring. This novel product has solved the problem. Constructed using acrylic sheet, it is lightweight and as such is intended for portable / temporary use in conjunction with telescopic poles. Some care will be needed as the slip ring will naturally grip the pole and the guying ring will therefore need to be carefully eased off the pole when dismantling.

Works well with my Sotabeam mast and 3 element Arrow antenna
I am using the grommet for the lower height. Since I prefer to use 3 guy wires for my short portable operations, I made a loop of cord between two of the holes to come closer to a tripod spacing.
