Spare shock absorber for Tactical 7000hds mast

A spare shock absorber for the popular Tactical 7000hds mast. Made from high density foam.

The size of shock absorber that will fit your mast depends on when the mast was made:

  • 53mm diameter for older masts where the plastic base assembly is approx 52.5mm internal diameter.
  • 48mm for newer masts where the plastic base assembly is approx 50mm internal diameter, but the shock absorber is also pushed partly into the bottom fibreglass section, which has approx 47mm internal diameter.

The masts that we are currently selling use the 48mm shock absorber.

    The shock absorber is a great idea; saves smashing the base for those times when the mast collapses. Where else could you find a spare?
