"Must-have" Accessories

Pole bags: protect your pole with a durable nylon storage bag.

We also supply guying kits and insulators for our poles. Click the links below for details:

Applications

All our poles will support a lightweight longwire or dipole antenna with ease and are readily erected by one person. They will stand a moderate wind if properly erected. Each pole comes complete with a set of instructions and our suggestions on how they might be used.

Other Uses

These poles are also ideal as the top section for home-station vertical antennas.

A few people have purchased them for use as quad spreaders. People have also bought them to use as elements for lightweight HF yagis - six poles would make a near full-sized 3 element beam for 20/30m if attached to a suitable boom. Four poles could make a nice "Moxon Rectangle" antenna. One person bought four poles to use at the end of the elements of his 80m yagi!

    10m mast

Posted by Ed Beer on 12th Jan 2021

Wow this thing is immense, you don't appreciate how high 10 meters is until you put it up in the back garden, this is higher than my chimney ! Certainly the height I'm looking for, I stuck a vertical end fed on it and my noise floor has reduced dramatically.

    Sotapole

Exactly as described. Good strong construction and precisely what I needed to support antennae (plural I shall be using it in several situations). Good buffer in the end cap. Watch for it filling with rainwater if you don't seal the joints with tape and leave it up. Handy eye in the tip of the top section you may find useful. With proper care (cleaning and avoiding grit and impact) it feels strong enough to last for years. Recommend.

I purchased the 10m telescopic mast recently to make a 40m helical wound verticle for a recent summer camp I took part in.The mast worked a treat and stood firm with just a ground spike to keep it in check(no guys).
