Guying Kit 7 - for use with 6 - 8 m poles
-
Guying Kit 10 - for use with 9 - 12 m poles
Applications
All our poles will support a lightweight longwire or dipole antenna with ease and are readily erected by one person. They will stand a moderate wind if properly erected. Each pole comes complete with a set of instructions and our suggestions on how they might be used.
Other Uses
These poles are also ideal as the top section for home-station vertical antennas.
A few people have purchased them for use as quad spreaders. People have also bought them to use as elements for lightweight HF yagis - six poles would make a near full-sized 3 element beam for 20/30m if attached to a suitable boom. Four poles could make a nice "Moxon Rectangle" antenna. One person bought four poles to use at the end of the elements of his 80m yagi!
Product Instructions can be found HERE!
Due to their long packed size, SOTAPOLEs can only be sent by courier, and only to the UK.
***NOTE*** WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP SOTAPOLES OVERSEAS, as the shipping cost is usually at least as much as the price of the poles.
WE ARE ABLE TO SHIP ALL OUR OTHER MASTS WORLDWIDE. Not sure which mast to choose? Click here for our handy comparison chart)

SOTAPOLE 10m
I've looked at the other reviews below and agree that this is/should be a great product. However my 10m pole failed the first time I used it! It was holding up a 5/8 vertical wire for 21MHz during the recent BERU contest. I only noticed the problem when I took the antenna down - one of the upper sections had split along its length. I'm not sure why, as there was no top load and only light winds. I've now cleaned the broken section and used superglue to fill the lines of the split. Not sure if this will work the next time I use it.

Sotapoles
I have found this product to be outstanding i have used this pole to send the g5rv ladder line up and its done the job perfect.

Weather tested
I am using the Sotapole as a home base antenna and have left it up throughout the bad weather to see if it would cope with the Orkney wind and weather. Plenty of snow, (which is unusual for Orkney) and quite mild winds, 40 MPH so far (which is also unusual). However the pole coped very well and I am quite confident to leave it up and order another one for portable use.

Great Pole
I picked up one of these poles to try and elevate an end fed antenna (also bought at SotaBeams) and it worked a treat. The pole is bungeeded tp a fence post and hasn't moved, well worth it.

The best
It was very easy to assemble and light weight too. When it was erected it took well to the high winds we had at the time. Also very easy to dismantle and store. A great product.

7m Sotapole Telescopic Antenna Mast
Great bit of kit, easy to put and use and nice and light. Only thing was it rattles a bit when put away so I put a disk of foam in both ends and now its quite when I walk around with it.

The 10m Sotapole and car mast stand complement each other perfectly. I'm able get on the air in minutes with a range of different verticals. Highly recommended.
