Our 7m poles are perfect for lightweight portable radio operating. They represent the optimum balance between weight and height for applications where the poles must be carried to site. Longer poles are hard to manage in many conditions.

Applications
All our poles will support a lightweight longwire or dipole antenna with ease and are readily erected by one person. They will stand a moderate wind if properly erected. Each pole comes complete with a set of instructions and our suggestions on how they might be used.
Other Uses
These poles are also ideal as the top section for home-station vertical antennas.
A few people have purchased them for use as quad spreaders. People have also bought them to use as elements for lightweight HF yagis - six poles would make a near full-sized 3 element beam for 20/30m if attached to a suitable boom. Four poles could make a nice "Moxon Rectangle" antenna. One person bought four poles to use at the end of the elements of his 80m yagi!

Money Well Spent
I bought the 10 metre pole for semi-temporary use in my garden. Superb. Quite manageable even at full extent. I've used it about ten times up to now with barely any incident. The one incident did occur yesterday. One of the sections was locked solid, unable to pack the pole away. A quick look on YouTube sorted it. Just tap the base on a solid floor a few times and it was sorted. Highly recommended. Also the delivery was very prompt, the pole was very well packaged. Very pleased.

7 Meter Sota Pole
Excellent Product. I wanted a smaller light weight pole to complement my 10 meter pole so ordered the 7 meter one. I was not dissapointed. The pole is light enough to hand carry and easilly supports my home brew linked dipole.

Great Product, Great Service
The telescopic poles are outstanding. Easy to use, and strong for their weight. If you DO break a section by doing something dumb (like I did) their replacement service is fast and at very minimal cost (shipping). I can't over-recommend Sotbeams. Also - for those that are interested in spray-painting camo on these poles, they take paint reasonably well.

Great product.
only recklessness on my part broke my last sota pole, so my 7m version is a replacement. Very good value for money ,very quick delivery, and does exactly what you want it to do in the field. I use mine with linked dipole , also from sotabeams which is another superb product.
