"Must-have" Accessories
Pole bags: protect your pole with a durable nylon storage bag.
We also supply guying kits and insulators for our poles. Click the links below for details:
-
Guying Kit 7 - for use with 6 - 8 m poles
-
Guying Kit 10 - for use with 9 - 12 m poles
Applications
All our poles will support a lightweight longwire or dipole antenna with ease and are readily erected by one person. They will stand a moderate wind if properly erected. Each pole comes complete with a set of instructions and our suggestions on how they might be used.
Other Uses
These poles are also ideal as the top section for home-station vertical antennas.
A few people have purchased them for use as quad spreaders. People have also bought them to use as elements for lightweight HF yagis - six poles would make a near full-sized 3 element beam for 20/30m if attached to a suitable boom. Four poles could make a nice "Moxon Rectangle" antenna. One person bought four poles to use at the end of the elements of his 80m yagi!
Product Instructions can be found HERE!
Due to their long packed size, SOTAPOLEs can only be sent by courier, and only to the UK.
***NOTE*** WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP SOTAPOLES OVERSEAS, as the shipping cost is usually at least as much as the price of the poles.
WE ARE ABLE TO SHIP ALL OUR OTHER MASTS WORLDWIDE. Not sure which mast to choose? Click here for our handy comparison chart)

SOTA pole
Arrived within 2 days of order well packed. Very clear easy to follow instructions. Make sure you follow the advice to practise in the garden or in a park before you climb any mountains! # I am using my pole to support the Band Hopper II and my garden was too small to be able to guy it successfully. I had 2 attempts in the local park and am pleased that I did as the first attempt proved that you should pick a clear area with no tall weeds to tangle with. Delighted with results - very light to carry. Definitely recommend for SOTA.
