Tinned copper wire - solid (single strand) wire with no insulation
Useful for making electrical connections if the wire does not need to be insulated - using uninsulated wire is a bit quicker and easier than scraping/burning the enamel off enamelled copper wire. For example, we use short lengths of tinned copper wire for some of the wiring inside our 4:1 matching transformer.
