UHF Plug (solder) PL259 for RG174

PL259 - solder type - RG174 etc.

A good quality PL-259 (UHF) plug for RG316 RG174 RG178 LMR100. There is no crimping required with this particular plug, it is designed to be connected to the co-axial cable by soldering only. This type of plug can be tricky to find, the solder+crimp type PL-259 plug is a lot more common.


Stripping

Fold the braid back over the black outer sheath of the RG-174

Unscrew the connector. Push the cable into the connector part shown above.
Solder the inner and Braid though the holes, then screw the connector back together.

Use our 6:2 heatshrink sleeving to seal.

    These are great little plugs at a sensible price. Well made and easy to connect to coax. Recommended.
